About City of Orange, NJ

Essex County, New Jersey, in the United States, contains the township of The City of Orange. There were 30,134 people living in the township as of the 2010 United States Census. On November 27, 1806, the New Jersey Legislature passed an act creating Orange Township from a section of Newark Township. On April 14, 1834, portions of the township were seized in order to create the now-defunct Clinton Township. Orange was reincorporated as a town on January 31, 1860. Fairmount, East Orange Township, West Orange Township, and South Orange Township were all created by taking pieces of the town. Orange was reincorporated as a city on April 3, 1872. There would eventually be more than a dozen municipalities in Essex County that would reclassify themselves as townships in order to benefit from federal revenue-sharing policies that assigned townships a greater share of government aid to municipalities on a per capita basis. In 1982, the city was one of four municipalities in Essex County to pass a referendum to become a township, joining 11 municipalities that had already made the change. William III of England or William IV, Prince of Orange, are the namesakes of the city.

City of Orange Car Accident Lawyers Answer Frequently Asked Questions regarding Automobile Accidents in New Jersey

What should I do if I was in a car accident?

How much would it cost me to work with car accident attorneys in City of Orange on my case?

You may be confident that there will be no up-front fees when you select The Epstein Law Firm to represent you in a vehicle accident claim. Only when we win monetary compensation for you in a settlement or at trial do we receive payment. In this way, you can pursue your vehicle accident claim without worrying about having to pay for legal counsel upfront.

What should I do if the driver who caused the accident has no insurance?

You might be able to get money for your injuries and vehicle damage even if the driver who hit you didn’t have auto insurance. You may be able to file a claim for benefits with your own insurance provider if your auto policy includes uninsured motorist coverage. In addition, you have the option of suing the at-fault motorist directly for the vehicle accident. Uninsured motorist coverage is, however, your best choice for compensation because the majority of drivers who operate vehicles without insurance frequently lack the financial means to pay a verdict in a car accident lawsuit.
