New Jersey regulations provide that anyone riding a bicycle on roadways must ride as far to the right side of the road as possible. Bicyclists must exercise caution when they are passing a vehicle that is parked on the side of the road, or if they are passing a vehicle that is heading in the same direction. All bicyclists must ride in the same direction as vehicular traffic, and may move left on the roadway under certain conditions.
