About Michael Epstein

Mr. Epstein has been practicing law for close to 25 years. As a current partner with the Epstein Law Firm, P.A., Mr. Epstein represents clients in a wide range of practice areas including but not limited to:

Early on in Mr. Epstein’s career, he gained invaluable experience working as a law clerk for the Honorable Alfred M. Wolin of the United States District Court of New Jersey as well as the Honorable Marie L. Garibaldo of the New Jersey Supreme Court. 

Mr. Epstein is a graduate of Hamilton College, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in the early 1990s. After receiving his B.A., he went on to Harvard law School where he obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence cum laude. Upon graduation, he was admitted to practice in both New Jersey and New York. 

Mr. Epstein served as President of the Bergen County Bar Association, and currently is the co-chair of the civil practice committee and member of the bench bar committee and judicial appointments committee. He also currently sits on the board of governors, is the co-chair of the Amicus committee, and is a member of the civil practice committee with the New Jersey Association of Justice (NJAJ). Mr. Epstein is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney and serves on the Supreme Court Model Civil Jury Committee. He frequently presents and moderates legal education classes. 

Mr. Epstein has been recognized for his professional achievements many times over. He was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2006-2008 and has had an inclusion on the Super Lawyers list every year since 2009. In 2014, Mr. Epstein was named to the Top 100 List for Super Lawyers and has been continually included in the list every year since. He was also recognized for the Top 10 Personal Injury Leaders Under 40 Award, in addition to being selected to the National Association of Distinguished Counsel Nation’s Top One Percent, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in New Jersey and U.S. News Best Lawyers and Law Firms.
