Young boy killed crossing New Jersey road

Sadly, it is not always easy to hold all parties liable that may be at fault for an accident. A 2003 accident that killed a young boy and injured his brother may have at least in part been the fault of New Jersey State transportation officials that declined to fund a pedestrian walkway near the site where the fatal accident occurred. However, because of legal immunity on the part of the officials, no wrongful death suit can be brought against them.

New Jersey pedestrians beware during holidays

The upcoming week is one of the most dangerous for pedestrian accidents. According to statistics regarding fatal New Jersey pedestrian accidents, last year during the holiday season, there were five pedestrian fatalities. Already there have been seven fatal pedestrian accidents during this year's Thanksgiving holiday.

New Jersey woman killed by alleged drunk driver

There are simply too many car accidents on our road. A 71-year old New Jersey woman was involved in a minor car accident. Just minutes later, after her husband picked her up to drive her home, their vehicle was struck head-on by a van and the woman died a short time later in the hospital.

Men more likely to die in New Jersey pedestrian accidents

Whenever a car is involved in a pedestrian accident, it is very likely that the pedestrian will experience serious personal injuries. This is especially true in the densely populated state of New Jersey. Quite simply, there are a lot of cars on New Jersey roadways, along with a lot of pedestrians. The combination can be deadly when a driver is negligent.

Armored car overturns on turnpike

A fatal truck accident on the turnpike involving an armor truck occurred during the early morning hours. The accident occurred when the truck veered off one of the lanes on the turnpike and then struck the guardrail on the left side of the road. This caused the truck to then flip injuring a passenger and killing the driver.

New Jersey car accident complicated by lack of evidence

Even what seems like a simple car accident can become a complicated matter during the course of an investigation and litigation. New Jersey prosecutors felt that they had found the individual responsible for the death of an "American Idol" star killed in a car accident because a suspect had confessed to being responsible for the accident. However, it now seems that there is not enough evidence in order for the most serious charges to stick.

Reckless New Jersey driver manages not to injure anyone else

Car accidents can happen for a variety of reasons, but extreme recklessness by a small minority of drivers is the cause of too many accidents. Recently, due to the conduct of the driver, a one-car New Jersey accident could easily have resulted in a number of injuries or fatalities.
