New Jersey's Teen Driving Restrictions Paying Dividends

If some New Jersey parents feel that they have been hearing excessive grumbling from their teenage drivers over the past several years concerning what they view as onerous restrictions on their ability to drive, they can now respond with statistics from a recent CDC study on fatal accidents involving teenage drivers across the country. The bottom line: Yes, New Jersey treats its teen drivers comparatively tough, and the result of that is the lowest traffic fatality rate among teenagers in the United States (tied with New York).

NJ Supreme Court Hears, Sends Back Slip/Fall Case to Lower Court

After almost seven years, Raymond Marcinczyk's law suit against the Somerset Police Academy, Raritan Valley Community College, Somerset County and academy administrators is still alive, and has now been ordered by the New Jersey Supreme Court to be reconsidered by the state's Appellate Division.

Google Busy Working on the Future with Robot Cars

People used to dream about this stuff. Now a large number of California drivers are looking out their windows and seeing in dramatic style a scientific vision made manifest on state roadways - robot cars. Google robot cars, to be precise. To many viewers, they seem decidedly flimsy and out of place in a shot so centrally marked by steel and destruction.

The following subject matter is certainly not something we would have readily envisioned writing about when we first began our blog posts. State Supreme Court Takes DWI Accident Case on Appeal

A motorcyclist who ran a red light, struck a car and was seriously injured in a DWI-related accident after leaving a Toms River restaurant in November 2006 with a blood-alcohol content nearly 2 ½ times over the New Jersey legal limit is now the central player in a case before the state's Supreme Court.
