Barry D. Epstein was born in New York, New York, on October 27, 1940. He was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1965, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1971, and the United States Supreme Court in 1983. He is also admitted to the United States Tax Court. Mr. Epstein received his B.A. from Clark University in 1962, and his J.D. from Rutgers University in 1965. He has lectured on the following topics:

Mr. Epstein has been recognized as one of the top ten leaders in personal injury and trial lawyers in Northern New Jersey.
